Paul Martin, North Royalton, OH won the pro event with a solo break that left his five other breakaway companion to fight it out for 2nd place. Teammate's Greg Christian, Andy Moskal, and Chris Uberti both finish extremely well with Chris and Andy finishing the pro race in 10th and 11th, respectively. "Were 4 for 4 this weekend, I won today, Chris 10th, Moskal 11th. Good
way to finish the season. The Debaets Devos race played out with myself, John Grant from TX Roadhouse, Daniele DeFranchesci JetFuel, Byan Adams Lathrup and a Bissell rider getting away in the last 10 minutes of the 90 minute race after an aggressive race. I was concerned about Grant and DeFranchsci who are both excellent sprinters and took an opportunity to go solo with 2 laps to go. The hesitation by the breakaway combined with the rain that was starting to fall helped me hold the gap to the finish." stated Paul Martin. Click Here for the Team Press Release |

June 29th, 2009: Panther Elite...back in OH!: Cincinnati & Columbus, OH - June 23, 2009: The Panther/RGF pb Felt Cycling team return to Ohio to compete at The Hyde Park Blast in Cincinnati on Saturday, June 27th and them the team traveled to the states capital, Columbus, to compete at the Tour de Grandview Hts Cycling Classic on Sunday, June 28th. The team, lead by multiple Elite and Master National Champion, Paul Martin, showed the large Ohio crowds that Panther/RGF pb Felt is arguably one of the best amateur elite national level team in the Midwest.
At The Hyde Park Blast: aggressive racing was the team MO. The Elite riders made it clear and understood that they were going to be in every lead breakaway that showed some serious potential on this fast and technical course. Unfortunately, a last lap crash force the team from attack mode to survival mode when Paul Martin and Ryan Knapp were brought down by a rider on the Texas Roadhouse Cycling Team on the technical 180 degree hairpin turn with less then a lap to go. This crash forced riders like Derek Laan, Jeremy Grimm, and Vince Roberge to quickly move to the front and sprint much sooner then expected. The beneficiary of this late crash were the high powered and craft AeroCat/Latino Cycling Team which took 1st and 2nd place with riders: Emile Abraham and Juan Pablo Dotti. Both Derek Laan and Jeremy Grimm finished strong with a 9th and 10th place despite the early mayhem that squashed the teams hope for a win or a top podium finish.
At the Tour de Grandview Hts Cycling Classic: continued aggressive racing rendered better results on Sunday in Columbus. More to come soon...

June 18, 2008: Dan Campbell @ Tour of Ohio: Tour of Ohio - NE, Ohio, USA, June 17-21, 2008. Stage 2 - June 18: Hocking Hills SP. Last year Dan Campbell, RGF Solutions/Panther Cycling Team, was the Tour of Ohio’s best Category 3 racer. This year Campbell made the first step in being just the best of Tour of Ohio’s by beating Dewey Dickey Mercer Cycling and Matt Winstead Inferno Racing to take stage 2 and move into the overall lead. The second stage of the Tour of Ohio, a 101 km stage that includes four major climbs, three of which within the last 20 km is the tours queen stage. Dickey was the winner of this stage last year and was clearly eager to claim a second straight victory. After a tranquil 40 km the first major climb of Jack Run at 18% presented the first opportunity for attacking. Matt DeCanio Haymarket was first over the top and continued to roll, hoping to score a victory on a course for the strong men. The bunch continued to stretch out in full pursuit, catching DeCanio near the base of the second climb at Cantwell Cliffs. The peloton ripped up the 1 km 8% climb in single file and stayed together for the next 10 km. At Conkle’s Hollow, Campbell, Dickey and Winstead separated themselves from the rest of the field. No one else from the front group was able to hold their pace as they flew effortlessly it seemed, up the steep 1.2 km grade. A chase group containing prologue winner David Duncan Time/cyclesafe.org and his team-mate Jared Gruber as well as Ty Stamfield myogenesis.com also got free from the rest of the shredded field on the penultimate climb on ridiculously steep Chapel Ridge Road. Their effort, while valiant, flattered to deceive as they were able to keep the leaders in sight on the run-in to the three tiered final Glick Hill climb. The leading trio proved to be too strong and rode too well together to be caught. None of the three, however, showed any interest or ability to shake their evenly matched rivals. Campbell powered ahead in the last 150 meters, opening up a gap over second placed Winstead. Dickey could only look on in frustration as he failed to repeat knowing that he couldn’t match the sprint of either of his rivals.
