RGF Sports Marketing, LLC was founded in 2006 by Robert “Polo” Fernandez, a USA Cycling cyclist for more then fifteen-years. RGF Sports Marketing, LLC is committed to help secure corporate sponsors to create a platform of programs that will provide support and instructions to developing cyclist while promoting a healthy and active lifestyle for both young and established cyclists. RGF is committed to help corporate sponsors market their products and services through this mission of assisting amateur, future professional athletes. |

EXECUTIVE TEAM:
Robert “Polo” G. Fernandez, Founder, President, CEO
As Founder, President & CEO, Robert Fernandez brings more than 20 years of executive search and investigative experience to his executive search research, RGF Solutions, Inc. Prior to forming his own group, Robert gained invaluable experience as Director of RJ Evans' Outsourced Research & Recruiting practice and was Manager of the Research Department and Search Team Leader at Christian & Timbers central offices with a focus on Professional Services. Additionally, Robert is well versed and has successfully conducted recruitment of middle to senior-level management assignments from Directors to CEOs and Board Members across a diverse range of market segments. Prior to becoming a search manager, team leader and company owner, Mr. Fernandez was with Medical Mutual of Ohio formerly Blue Cross Blue Shield of Ohio were he initially honed his skills in their Fraud Investigations Department. Currently, Robert is a member of the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce for Ohio. Robert is also the founder and owner of RGF Sports Marketing Group, LLC. Robert earned a place on the Dean's List from his sophomore through his senior year with a Business Administration majoring in Marketing at Cleveland State University.
Andrew Clarke, Sr. Vice President, General Manager
As President, CEO and Director of Panther Expedited Services, Mr. Clarke is focused on driving revenue growth and enhancing profitability for Panther Expedited Services, while increasing customer satisfaction and driver retention, and deepening client relationships. Mr. Clarke became Panther’s CEO in April 2007, and is Panther’s senior executive overseeing both strategic decisions and day-to-day operations. He joined Panther in 2006 as its President, bringing a wealth of experience from the transportation industry. Prior to Panther, he served as the Senior Vice President, Chief Financial Officer, Treasurer, and Director of Forward Air Corporation, a non-asset based provider of time-definite ground transportation services to the air cargo industry. From 1998 to early 2000, Mr. Clarke was as an investment banker with Deutsche Banc Alex Brown in their Global Transportation Group. Mr. Clarke is also a director of Pacer International, Inc., a $2 billion non-asset based 3PL and intermodal freight transportation provider. Mr. Clarke received his Bachelor’s of Science in Business Administration from Washington University in St. Louis, and obtained his Masters in Business Administration from the Graduate School of Business at the University of Chicago.
Paul J. Martin, General Manager and Sports Director
As a Financial Advisor and Attorney for Legacy Financial Associates Ltd. Mr. Martin renders investment advice and financial planning services to individuals and businesses. Mr. Martin, is the reigning 2008 Master 35-39 National Road Race Champion and 2007 Elite & Master National Road Race Champion, joined RGF Sports Marketing Group LLC as the General Manager and Sports Director. As General Manager and Sports Director, Mr. Martin will be responsible for rider recruitment and day to day operations to ensure that the program continues to meet its short-term and long-term goals consistent with its corporate sponsors. Prior to joining RGF Sports, Martin spent four successful years with the Texas Roadhouse cycling team. He is a former winner of the Elite U.S. National Road Race championships 1997, Masters 35-39 National Road Race 2007 and podium finisher in both the Elite Road Race Nationals and Elite Criterium Nationals in 2002. He raced on the Navigators Professional Cycling team for three seasons 1998-2000 and the West Virginia Professional Cycling team 2003. Paul currently lives in North Royalton, OH with his wife and two children. He earned a bachelor's degree in economics in 1994 from Valparaiso University and his law degree from Cleveland-Marshall College of Law in 2004.
Dave Chernosky, Esq., Vice President & General Counsel
David Chernosky was born in Cleveland on July 12, 1965. He attended Holy Name High School, Wittenberg University, and the Cleveland Marshall School of Law at Cleveland State University. Mr. Chernosky obtained his license to practice law in Ohio in 1991 and in Pennsylvania in 2004. He has experience in various areas and has represented amateur sports organizations and injured cyclist during his tenure as an attorney. Presently Mr. Chernosky heads the consumer law firm of Chernosky & Associates Co., L.P.A, which is located in Westlake, Ohio. Dave Chernosky has been an active competitive cyclist since 1991 and became a team member on the RGF Solutions Cycling Team in 2006.
Richard Brink, Vice President & Equipment Director
A bicycle industry veteran, Mr. Brink has owned retail bicycle stores in his native New England, and worked as a factory sales representative. Richard is currently an independent sales rep managing the affairs for some the sports leading edge brands. The proud father of a nine year old boy, Richard lives in Cleveland Heights Ohio. Notable sporting accomplishments include several state cycling and Nordic ski championships as well a successful scholastic hockey carrier.

STAFF MEMBERS:
Mike Busa, Cycling Scout
Mike was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio where he graduated from St. Ignatius High School in 1999. From here he went on to complete his BS in Engineering Management with a specialty in Composite Materials Engineering at the University of Portland. After completion of his degree Mike moved to Belgium to race his bike for most of 2004, where he raced for both the Cycling Center now the Bruyneel Cycling Academy and the US National Team. Currently Mike is pursuing his Masters in Exercise Physiology at Eastern Michigan University, where he does research in the area of Dynamical Systems, with runners. Mike hopes to continue his education with a Ph.D. after his masters is completed. Mike comes from a family with a strong love for sport. His parents are avid golfers, tennis players, and runners. His younger brother Matt was a varsity Golfer at Georgetown University. Matt has plans to attend law school in the fall of 2008. Personally, Mike grew up doing as much outside as possible, whether that was swimming, tennis, golf, playing football in the neighborhood, hockey, or cycling. Mike got his start in cycling in high school and rode recreationally until his junior year of college, where he started taking his training and racing more seriously. Mike has raced for teams such as Team Akron, Lake Effect Racing, Team West Virginia/Go-Mart, Long John’s Silvers and most recently Texas Roadhouse. In 2008, Mike has joined the RGF Solutions/Panther Elite Cycling team, with the goal of growing this team into a strong regional team with a strong emphasis on young rider development.
Mike House, Team Advisor
Mike was born and raised in Fremont, Ohio where he was a 2002 graduate of Fremont Ross high school. He went on to Miami University where he graduated in 2006 with a B.S. in Health and Sport Studies. In his first year out of school he worked in the local bike shop along with the City of Fremont Parks and Recreation Department where he found a passion for working with and for the local community. In August of 2007, Mike married his “best friend” Erin, who is finishing a Masters degree in College Student Personnel from Bowling Green State University. Currently Mike is working in Toledo, Ohio as a Health Advisor for Healthways, which is a healthcare industry leader offering health and wellness plans to industries worldwide.
As an athlete, Mike is also very decorated. He began as a runner for his middle school cross country and track team. After two years of running, he then found cycling in 1998 through a local friend and club Maumee Valley Wheelmen in Toledo, Ohio. By 2000, Mike was starting to make an impression on the national scene with a podium result at cyclo-cross nationals. In 2001, he was crowned Jr. Cyclo-Cross National Champion and represented the USA at the World Championships. In 2002, he continued his success with three more national podium finishes in road, track and cyclo-cross events. In his eight years as an elite cyclist, Mike has raced for and helped to build some of the country’s premier cycling teams including: Go-Mart, West Virginia/Go-Mart, Sharper Image/Mathis Brothers Professional Cycling Team, and Texas Roadhouse. In 2008, Mike will be joining some of the very best young talent on the RGF Solutions/Panther Elite Cycling Team wherein he is dedicated to helping the young cycling community find success and happiness in the sport that has given him so much.
Michael Oleksiw, Web-Designer
Born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio. Graduated from North Royalton High School in 1995. Then Graduated from Heidelberg College in 1999 with BS in Computer Science and a BS in Accounting. Currently working for CompSource as Webmaster and IT specialist. Mike has played Soccer his whole career and is still playing when not with family. |

SHORT & LONG-TERM GOALS:
Our mission is to create a nationally recognized cycling program that will recruit and evaluate young athletes by providing them the tools and resources to compete at the highest level in the sport of competitive cycling in United States.
Short Term:
- Our athletes will be coached & mentored to improve their cycling skills and lead to be responsible citizens representing our sponsor both on and off the race course via their performances and community involvement centered on a health & wellness initiative
.
- RGF Sports will work with corporate sponsors to roll out a custom marketing solution that fits their current corporate needs by assuming the title sponsors color pallet and name the program is driven by its sponsors marketing objectives. This will create a mutually beneficial and prosperous partnership between corporate sponsors and the athletes representing them while offering your organization both exciting opportunities to benefit the community large or small that you do business in.
Long Term:
- RGF Sports Marketing will become the first professional cycling team based in Cleveland, Ohio.
- RGF Sports Marketing would like to reinvent bicycle racing for kids. Our number one goal is to have FUN. We would like to emphasize participation and welcome kids of all abilities and backgrounds to participate. Our long-term goal and mission is to teach kids a love of bicycling that will last for a lifetime.
- RGF Sports Marketing will host cycling camps at area recreational centers, schools and YMCA’s for all children, as well as to build our primary U25 Elite Cycling Program into a national caliber professional team.
- Develop a cycling program that encourages the average cyclist to grow into an elite athlete, as well as to foster the average person's enjoyment of our growing sport.
